Sign up for the summer reading challenge

Get ready for a summer full of fun (and reading) with the Dartmouth Public Library Children’s Summer Reading Challenge. 

This year’s challenge is titled “Read Beyond the Beaten Path” and invites children ages 5-12 to participate in a variety of activities to earn challenge badges and prizes. There is also a pre-readers challenge for kids 0-5 that parents and caregivers can partake in.

Participants will also have the chance to enter a drawing for a grand prize.

Registration for the Summer Reading Challenge begins Wednesday, June 22. To sign up, stop by the Southworth or North Branch Library. For more information visit tinyurl.com/kidschallenge.

Along with the challenge, there will be also be a variety of family-friendly performers including Ed the Wizard, award-winning storyteller Diane Edgecomb, and Henry the Juggler. There will also be movies showed at the libraries.
