Jan 8, 2021

Do you have an idea for a project that will improve your neighborhood, school or community? The United Way of Greater New Bedford is looking for all-volunteer groups to submit innovative, community projects that will bring people together while creating a positive impact in the area.

Groups with budgets of $40,000 or less located in Greater New Bedford (Acushnet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Freetown, New Bedford, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, or Wareham) are eligible to apply for  up to $2,500. Potential projects must reflect the goals of United Way in the areas of health, education, financial stability, or basic needs.

Those interested are encouraged to attend one of two virtual orientation sessions that will be held on Jan. 19 at 4 p.m. and Jan. 22 at 10 a.m.

Registration is required for the sessions. To sign up, call (508) 994-9625 ext. 219 or register online at unitedwayofgnb.org/mini-grants.
