The Dartmouth Democratic Town Committee will host a candidates’ night on Thursday, June 30 at  7 p.m. in Room 309 at Town Hall.

Dartmouth voters will have the chance to hear from incumbent State Rep. Chris Markey and challenger Cameron Costa as the two prepare for the state primary, which will be held on Sept. 6.

All questions will be asked by members of the audience once written on 3x5 index cards and collected by a committee volunteer.

The questions will then be posed by the moderator to each candidate in turn.

A good faith effort will be made to vary the topics of the questions so as to get good visibility of the positions of the candidates on issues likely to effect the 9th Bristol District, which is made up of all of Dartmouth and the North End of New Bedford.
