Suzanne J. (Fritze) Almeida, 61, of Westport, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 20, 2021 with her family by her side. She was the wife of John V. Almeida.

 

Mrs. Almeida was born in Fall River, daughter of Barbara A. (LaRue) Fritze of Dartmouth and the late Ernest D. Fritze and had resided in Westport for over 30 years. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary at the VFW Post 959, Dartmouth.

 

Survivors along with her husband and mother include her brothers: Michael D. Fritze of Fairhaven and Stephen E. Fritze of Dartmouth; brother-in-law: Noel Almeida of Falmouth; sister-in-law: Charlotte Vieira of CA; along with several nieces and nephews.

 

She was the mother of the late John Almeida and sister of the late Erik B. Fritze and Donald R. Fritze.

 

Graveside service, to which all are invited, to honor both Suzanne and her late son John will be Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
