Saturday, August 12

Art Drive.

Dartmouth and Westport artists will open their studios all weekend for the 10th annual open studio tour. Visitors can expect showcases of paintings, ceramics, photography, jewelry, woodwork, and metal art. The Art Drive donates a percentage of their sales to the Lloyd Center for the Environment. Duck derby.

The Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary will host its Duck Derby, 9:30-11 a.m., at its 1280 Horseneck Road location. Approximately 6,000 rubber ducks will be released on the incoming tide at Barney's Joy. For more information, visit massaudubon.org.

Yard sale.

The Dartmouth Historical & Arts Society will host a yard sale fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors can expect books and other such items for sale at 1205 Russells Mills Road. Call Kathy at (508) 993-7736 for more information, or to make a table reservation.

Clambake.

The Smith Neck Friends Meeting will host its annual clambake at 594 Smith Neck Road at 1:30 p.m. The 30-year tradition will include quahog chowder, brown bread, stuffing, baked fish, corn, sausage, clams, potatoes, and watermelon. Tickets are $47 for adults and $23 for children under 12. Call Anne Lopoulos at (508) 994-5816 for tickets.

Concert.

The Paskamansett Concert Series will present Chuck Williams & Davey O. Tickets are $15 for adults; $12 for kids, seniors, and college students; free for toddlers; or $35 for families. Sunday, August 13

Wine tasting.

The Dartmouth High School Alumni Association will host a wine tasting and concert fundraiser at Costal Vineyards, 1-5 p.m. Tickets to the event are $15 per person. The price of admission includes a souvenir wine glass and a tasting of Costal Vineyard’s handcrafted wines.
