Carnival comes to town

Fiesta Shows hosts a carnival Thursday, July 22 to Sunday, July 25 on the grounds of the Dartmouth Mall. Hours are: 6 p.m. to closing, Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. to closing Saturday and Sunday. Farmers’ Market offers local produce 

The Dartmouth Farmers’ Market will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 23 on the lawn at St. Mary’s Parish Center, 789 Dartmouth St. 

The market offers locally raised meats and eggs, locally grown produce and flowers and crafted food, handmade goods, crafts and art. Local musicians will perform.

Saturday, July 24

Historical and Arts Society yard sale 

A yard sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 24 at Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society, 1205 Russells Mills Road. An array of items will be available. Call 508-993-7736 for reservations and more information.

Wednesday, July 28 

The Loose Screws to perform

The Loose Screws band will perform from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28 at Apponagansett Park, Gulf Road.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person at the gate, $4 in advance. Children younger than 12 are admitted free. A season pass is available for $30.

Advance ticket sales and season passes are available at the town Parks and Recreation Office.
