Eat clams.

The Lloyd Center’s Clamebake XXXII will begin at 6 p.m. at Demarest Lloyd State Park. The annual fundraising event will include a raw bar, lobster rolls, chowder, and assorted sliders, as well as a top-shelf open bar and silent auction. The theme is 1970s disco. Saturday, July 15

Smell the flowers.

The St. Julies Ladies Guild will host its first garden tour at 10 a.m. The event will include tours of six private gardens and two community gardens in Dartmouth and New Bedford. A sit-down luncheon will be served at 11:30 a.m. Tour tickets are 18 in advance, and $20 the day of the event. Participants will meet at St. Julie’s Church, located at 494 Slocum Road.

Get to know local artists.

Artists in Dartmouth, Westport, and coastal Rhode Island will open their studios to the public on Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is free. Find a map of all Dartmouth art studios participating at southcoastartists.org.

Go for a walk on the beach.

Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary will host a free beach ramble through the sanctuary's Beach Loop Trail at 10 a.m. The hike winds through meadows, a sandy beach, and a bedrock outcrop for views of the area. Dress for an outdoor hike and bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray. The sanctuary is located at 1280 Horseneck Road. For more information visit massaudubon.org.

Shop local produce.

Round the Bend Farm will open its doors to the public during its Open Farm Day, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at its 92 Allen Neck Road location. Visitors will find non-GMO and grass-fed meat, seasonal veggies, honey, maple syrup, and herbal teas for sale. Family-friendly farm tours begin at 11 a.m. Payment for items for sale must be made by cash or check. For more information, visit roundthebendfarm.org.

Learn from your elders.

The Dartmouth Friends of the Elderly will honor residents 90-years and up at a 12 p.m. luncheon at White's of Westport. Nonagenarians nominated by the community will be honored and will speak about their 90-plus years of life. For more information or tickets, contact Maria Connor at (508) 636-6453.

Check out hot rods.

St. Peter's Episcopal Church will host a car show at Dartmouth High School, 1-5 p.m. Cars from all models and years are welcome to attend. There is a $20 entry donation per car for those wishing to include a car in the show. Admission is free for spectators, although donations to the church are welcome. Relax with acupuncture

The Bridge: A Center for Hope and Healing will host an “Accupuncture for Peace” workshop at the center’s 351 Elm Street location, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Acupuncturist Deb Stevens will introduce participants to the Chinese medical technique that uses needles to tap into a person's energy system and restore balance. Promote biking.

The South Coast Bikeway Alliance will host an informational session on upcoming workshops at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall, room 315. Presenters will give an introduction to the group’s upcoming workshop series on trail blazing.

Go birding.

The 6 p.m. meeting of the Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary Junior Bird Club will focus on shoreline birds. The Junior Bird Club is a free program open to children and adults of all ages. The club meets monthly, with meetings focused on local species, hands-on field studies, and guided bird walks. Brookdale Dartmouth Village will host speaker Patricia Midurski RN, CDP for a discussion on Alzheimer's disease at 6 p.m. The talk will focus on signs and symptoms of the disease, and a light dinner will be served prior to the talk.
