Friday, July 30

Brews & Tunes 

Brews & Tunes returns to South Wharf Yacht Yard and Marina, 218 Elm St., from 5 to 8 p.m. Live music will be performed by Ray Greene & The All-Star Band. 

There will be food and brews, with Truly Seltzer from Sam Adams also served. Beverage tickets will be available for purchase with cash or card .

An optional admission fee will benefit Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust.

Farmers’ Market offers local produce 

The Dartmouth Farmers’ Market will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 30 on the lawn at St. Mary’s Parish Center, 789 Dartmouth St. 

The market offers locally raised meats and eggs, locally grown produce and flowers and crafted food, handmade goods, crafts and art. Local musicians will perform.

Saturday, July 31

Visit Dartmouth’s only remaining grist mill 

Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust invites the public to visit the town’s only remaining grist mill, Allen’s Mill, at an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 31. Allen’s Mill is located on the north side of Slade’s Corner Road, between 107 and 111 Slades Corner Road, approximately 4/10ths of a mile from Russells Mills Village.

Padanaram sidewalk sale 

A sidewalk sale featuring local Padanaram businesses will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 31 in Padanaram Village. The sale is sponsored by the Padanaram Business Association. Off-street parking is available at St. Mary’s Church, 795 Dartmouth St., from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Sunday, Aug. 1 

School supply drive 

St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 351 Elm St., is coordinating a school supply drive for Arnie's Cupboard, the food pantry at UMass Dartmouth, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 1 and 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4. 

Needed items include pens, mechanical pencils, markers of all colors, notebooks, binders, notebook filler paper, (college ruled), backpacks, planners/calendars, sticky notes, calculators, staplers, flash drives, water bottles and index cards.

Tuesday, Aug. 3

Community band concert

The Dartmouth Community Band will host its weekly free summer concert at 6:30 p.m. at Apponagansett Beach. The concerts are part of the Dartmouth Parks and Recreation Summer Concert Series.

Wednesday, Aug. 4 

Whiskey Affair to perform

Whiskey Affair will entertain from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4 at Apponagansett Park, Gulf Road.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person at the gate, $4 in advance. Children younger than 12 are admitted free. A season pass is available for $30.

Advance ticket sales and season passes are available at the town Parks and Recreation Office.
