Friday, July 1

Farmers’ Market offers local produce 

The Dartmouth Farmers’ Market will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, June 17 on the lawn at St. Mary’s Parish Center, 789 Dartmouth St. 

The market offers locally raised meats and eggs, locally grown produce and flowers and crafted food, handmade goods, crafts and art. Local musicians will perform.

The Dartmouth Cultural Center will host an opening reception for its July exhibit on Friday, July 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. The center is located at 404 Elm Street.

The show will feature the work of local photographer Michael Morris.

Saturday, July 2

The Dartmouth Historical & Arts Society will celebrate the Fourth of July holiday with a picnic and concert on Saturday, July 2 outside the Russells Mills schoolhouse located at 1205 Russells Mills Road.

The picnic will begin at 4 p.m. The concert, performed by the Dartmouth Community Band, will occur at 5 p.m.

There will also be a rededication of the schoolhouse’s refurbished flagpole, a Civil War-era color guard, and a flag raising boy Scout Troop 2019.

Guests are welcome to the patriotic festivities and encouraged to bring blankets, picnics, chairs and chaises for maximum comfort.
