Three arrested in connection with November armed robbery
Dartmouth Police arrested three people connected to an armed robbery at the State Road Shell gas station that left one man injured last November.
On August 11, police arrested 38-year-old Canton resident Robert Perard, 30-year-old Westport resident Felicia President, and 27-year-old Taunton resident Chelsea President on warrants for robbery, armed and masked firearm usage, and conspiracy.
Perard was additionally charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and witness intimidation. Chelsea President was also charged with witness intimidation.
On November 25 around 6 p.m., Perard allegedly assaulted, beat with a firearm, and robbed a man of his money while inside the store at the intersection of State and Reed roads, police said. The man was transported to St. Luke's Hospital.
At the time, police had searched the area with K-9s, but found nothing.
The investigation was led by Dartmouth Detective Derek Sousa. The state police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Unit assisted in the arrest.
