Tony Pereira, aged 52, of Dartmouth passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at home. He was the beloved son of the late Manuel Pereira and Albina Belo.

Tony was born in Murtosa, Portugal and had worked as a captain on various scalloping and fishing vessels.

He is survived by his sister, Maria O. Lucilia Pereira; five brothers, Manuel Pereira, Ventura Pereira, Jose Pereira, Carlos Pereira and Paul Pereira; as well as six nieces and nephews.

Tony’s visiting hours were held on Thursday morning, September 26 at Perry Funeral Home and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will take place in Portugal.
