The Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries will be hosting a virtual tour of the gardens that have inspired some of New England’s most beloved painters, sculptors, and authors on Thursday, March 31 at 6:30 p.m.

The tour will be presented by Jana Milbocker, a gardener, speaker, author, and owner of Boston-based landscape design firm Enchanted Gardens.

She is the author of “The Garden Tourist,” “The Garden Tourist’s New England," and “The Garden Tourist’s Florida.”

Audience members will be introduced to the gardens of Edith Wharton, Julian Alden Weir, Childe Hassam, Daniel Chester French, Emily Dickinson, Augustus Saint-Gaudens, and others.
