Town to celebrate Veterans Day with ceremony at memorial gazebo
Nov 1, 2021
Dartmouth’s second annual Veterans Day memorial ceremony is set to go, according to Veterans Service Officer Matthew Brouillette.
The event will be held Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. outside the newly renovated memorial gazebo outside the Council on Aging’s center at 628 Dartmouth St.
Brouillette said the ceremony will last roughly 25 minutes and will include police and fire honor guards, remarks from town officials, and a flag raising ceremony.
"Reveille" and “Retreat” will be played, along with the national anthem.
The Veterans Day memorial will be held rain or shine, Brouillette said.
