Town Hall opens to public

Jul 29, 2020

For the first time since the pandemic shutdown in March, Dartmouth Town Hall is resuming somewhat normal operations as it opened its doors to the public on Monday, July 27.

According to Town Administrator Shawn MacInnes, who updated the Select Board at a meeting later that evening, a number of offices are now open with safety and social distancing guidelines in place, with the exception of the Town Clerk’s office.

Safety measures include protective plexiglass and rules for staggering the number of visitors to small offices.

Masks are required within the building at all times.

The Select Board also pushed back the date for submitting articles for Fall Town Meeting from July 22 to August 7 at the meeting.
