Trees downed around town as Isaias hits Northeast

Aug 4, 2020

Trees and branches went down all around Dartmouth on August 4 as Tropical Storm Isaias hit the Northeast after ravaging the Carolinas and other southern Atlantic states.

One police officer, who withheld his name, stated that around 30 trees and branches caused at least partial roadblocks all over town from the afternoon into the early evening.

Some residents experienced intermittent power outages.

A statewide tornado watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
