UMass Police searching for flasher on campus
The UMass Dartmouth Police Department has issued a community advisory regarding a man who has reportedly exposed himself to women on four different occasions in the past three weeks.
The incidents occurred in the parking lots at UMass. The first reported incident was on Oct. 19 in Lot 16; the second incident was on Nov. 6 in Lot 14; and the third incident was on Nov. 13 in Lot 3.
The most recent reported incident occurred on the morning of Nov. 16 in Lot 16.
Police said that, based on his description and behavior, the same suspect was involved in each of the incidents.
The suspect has a light to medium complexion and is approximately 5 feet 10 inches. He’s described as having thick black hair, thick eyebrows and close cropped facial hair.
In the most recent incident, the suspect was reported to have been carrying an LL Bean backpack that was described as blue/green in color and with a tan border. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt hoodie and sweatpants of an undetermined color.
