The YMCA will hold its 4th annual Walk For Hunger on May 7 at 9 a.m.

Participants will meet at Apponagansett Park to walk a three-mile loop through Padanaram Village. There is no age requirement to participate.

This event is in conjunction with Project Bread’s Walk for Hunger which is taking place in Boston for its 55th year. 

Sixty percent of the funds raised through the walk will support Sharing the Harvest Community Farm’s food donation initiative. The remaining 40% will go towards Project Bread’s goal to raise over $1 million to increase food access for people of all ages in Massachusetts.
