The Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society will present “Why I Love Poetry,” a talk and reading, at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 14 at the Russells Mills Schoolhouse at 1205 Russells Mills Rd. Betty Jeanne (BJ) Nooth worked for the Massachusetts state government for 30 years. Now retired, she lives with her husband Wendell in Mattapoisett where she has facilitated a small poetry group for the last six years.

Refreshments will be served. A $5 donation is suggested.
