William Michael Costa Jr., 95, husband of Maria “Gilda” (Lima) and son of the late William M. Costa Sr. and Leonor D. (Furtado) died February 17, 2025. Born in New Bedford, resided in Dartmouth before he and Gilda relocated to Venice, FL.

Employed as the Purchasing Manager for Goodyear Tire and Rubber until retirement and served in the US Army during the Korean War. Former member of the Finance Committee and town meeting member for the Town of Dartmouth. Survivors include wife Gilda, daughter Mary-Ellen Costa and partner Kathleen Texeira, son David M. Costa, daughter Susan M. Costa and partner Steven H. Costa, son Steven W. Costa and brother-in-law, Herbert Lima.

Funeral Mass June 13, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Julie Billiart Church. Inurnment with military honors in Massachusetts National Cemetery.
