A two-car collision on Tucker Road injured one and delayed traffic.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. the Dartmouth Police Department and other emergency personnel responded to the crash reported around the area of 742 Tucker Road. The crash involved a 2003 Toyota Corolla and a 2007 Lexus RX.

One of the occupants of the Corolla was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with undisclosed injuries, police said.

The crash remains under investigation. Police have not released names, and no further details are available at this time.

This is the third reported vehicle accident on Tucker Road in the month of August. On Aug. 2, a car flipped near 947 Tucker Road after a two-vehicle accident.

On Aug. 14, a head-on collision between a convertible and a Postal Service truck occurred in front of Friends Academy.
