Children’s Circle Nursery School shows off artistic prowess at Gallery X

Dartmouth's young Picassos and Van Goghs got their first taste of what it is to be an artist at their first-ever gallery show.
On Friday, April 8, proud parents of the Children’s Circle Nursery School got to see their children's artwork displayed at Gallery X in New Bedford.
This is an annual event, the school's biggest fundraiser, and an opportunity for the students artwork to be on display in a real gallery for their parents, grandparents and any other special people in the children’s lives to see. Items were also available for auction to help raise money for the school.
While the Friday night event was just for adults, the children were able to view their art on display on Thursday and earlier on Friday.
Last year, the daughter of Children’s Circle Nursery School Advisory Board member Sara Carter was in absolute awe last when she got to see her own work hung up for the world to see.
"We went with another classmate and they had so much fun showing which artwork belonged to them," Carter said.
