Go for a post-Thanksgiving walk at Destruction Brook Woods
The Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust will host a post-Thanksgiving walk at Destruction Brook Woods on November 26 at 9 a.m.
The walk will begin at the parking area at the Destruction Brook Woods entrance on Slades Corner Road, located about a mile from Davolls General Store. Walkers are asked to bring water and dress appropriately for the day’s weather.
Walkers will have the opportunity to see Destruction Brook Woods’ miles of walking trails, woodlands, rock ledges, and the woods itself, which was once a source of power for the mills of Russell’s Mills.
It is anticipated that the walk will last for approximately two hours.
For weather cancellation information, call (508) 525-9266 or visit dnrt.org the morning of the walk.
