Mary Louise Botelho, 68

Mary Louise "Fris" Botelho, 68, of Dartmouth passed away peacefully at home on December 5.

She was the daughter of the late Manuel J. and Mary (Barboza) Botelho.

Botelho was born in New Bedford and had lived in New Bedford and Dartmouth most of her life before moving to Orlando, Florida 10 years ago.

She was formerly employed as a registered nurse at St. Luke's Hospital for 26 years. Botelho was a graduate of St. Luke's School of Nursing and the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.

She was a volunteer for Fairhaven Community Nurse Hospice and at a veterinarian office.

She enjoyed bowling, reading, King Richard's Fair, and whale watching. Botelho enjoyed the company of her cats, Queen Tabitha I and Doc Holiday.

Survivors include her cousins, Bobby Botelho, Danny Botelho and Melinda Botelho; her aunt, Anna Saulnier; and several other cousins and friends.

Her graveside service will be held on Friday, December 16, at 11 a.m., in St. John's Cemetery.
