Maria "Connie" (Marmelo) Pacheco, age 65, of Dartmouth, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Antonio M. Pacheco.

Born on January 18, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Jose and Alice Marmelo, she had resided in Dartmouth for most of her life.

She worked at Cliftex Corporation for over 35 years and was a Dunkin Donut Franchisee since 1988.

Connie was very devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She truly was an amazing woman who always wanted to surround herself with peace and happiness. She was so loving and humble and kind.

She is survived by her children, Derek Pacheco and wife Nicole and Tracy Neves and husband Mario all of Coventry, CT; her siblings; Tony Marmelo and wife Delores of N. Dartmouth, Ines Figuerido and husband Carlos of N. Dartmouth, Umbelina Almeida and husband Carlos of Acushnet, Barbara Carreiro and husband Louis of New Bedford, Fatima Cardoso and husband Nelson of Acushnet and Joe Marmelo and wife Beverly of Acushnet; grandchildren, Shaelyn, Cierra, Ethan and Jacob Pacheco, Landon and Gabriella Neves; sister-in-law Ana Medeiros and husband Mario; brother-in-law Duarte Pacheco and wife Rebecca; and many nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral was held on April 12. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery.
