Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary’s Thursday morning bird walks begin at 8 a.m. Sanctuary staff will lead a three-hour tour through the property in search of migratory birds. Dartmouth youth will participate in Lemonade Day — a program focused on teaching youth the entrepreneurial skills involved with starting, owning, and operating their own businesses — is coming to Dartmouth.

The Potter 5K kicks off at the District No. 3 fire station, located at 140 Cross Road, at 10 a.m. The annual 5K raises money to support the school’s PTO. Registration before May 7 is $20; race day registration is $25. Registration will open at 8:30 a.m. on race day. The Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society’s Sunday lecture series will include a discussion on the storms that have hit the region, hosted by long-time South Coast resident Cukie Macomber. The talk begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Russells Mills Schoolhouse, located at 1205 Russells Mills Road.
