Three arrested in connection with dirt bike theft

Three people were arrested after allegedly stealing dirt bikes from a Dartmouth garage on October 9.

According to a press release, Dartmouth police responded to Travers Street after receiving a report that a garage had been broken into and three motorized dirt bikes were stolen.

The victim was able to provide police with suspect and and vehicle information, leading officers to pull over a Chevrolet Silverado traveling on Slocum Road.

The occupants of the Silverado – 23-year-old Orlando Santiago-Torres and 30-year-old Randall King, Jr., both of New Bedford, and a third male juvenile – were arrested. All three were charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, breaking and entering into a building during the nighttime, larceny under $250, and conspiracy.
