The Lloyd Center will host a Bookfair fundraiser at the Dartmouth Barnes and Noble on October 28 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Events that will be held include live animal meet-and-greets, demonstrations with Koko, the center’s screech owl, and appearances by local author Cheryl Aguiar.

At 11 a.m. a national storytime will be held with staff from Barnes and Noble and the Lloyd Center. Owl Hour is from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. with Aguiar and Koko the screeh owl. Ongoing activities, including a costume contest and halloween crafts, will take place from 1 to 4 p.m.

A percentage of purchases made at Barnes and Noble during the event will benefit the Lloyd Center. Visit lloydcenter.org for a copy of a voucher to present at time of purchase, or ask a bookseller at check-out to benefit the Lloyd Center.
