Lillian M. (Gallant) Dauksewicz, 99, died Friday, January 26, 2018 in the Hannah B.G. Shaw Home in Middleboro. She was the wife of the late Peter M. Dauksewicz.

Born in Boston, MA, the daughter of the late George and Harriot (Farrar) Gallant, she spent her youth in Boston, before moving to Norwood where she and her late husband spent most of their lives before moving to Harwich and later Dartmouth. Mrs. Dauksewicz was a graduate of Boston Girls High School and was employed as a Sales Manager.

She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Stewart and her husband Ned of Dartmouth; three grandsons, Peter Stewart and his wife Nicole, Michael Stewart and his wife Eileen and James Stewart and his wife Maureen; eight great grandchildren, Madeline, Katrina, Elizabeth, Josephine, Cecilia, Peter, Madison and Rory; a nephew John Abramo and a cousin Jane Kelso. She was the sister of the late Lorraine Abramo.

Her funeral will be on February 5, 9 a.m., in St. Mary’s Church, 783 Dartmouth Street in Dartmouth. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Hannah B.G. Shaw Home, 299 Wareham St., Middleboro, MA 02746.
