Dartmouth Police are seeking help from people who may have seen the car involved in a hit and run on State Road.

On March 3 at approximately 6:59 p.m., Statsha Lynn Faria, 33, was hit by a car in the area of 653 State Road. When police arrived on scene the Westport woman had died as a result of the injuries she sustained from the crash.

Police said the suspect vehicle left the scene.

Both Dartmouth Police and the Massachusetts State Police are still investigating the incident.

On March 6, police released a description of a vehicle which may have been involved in the hit and run. Police are currently looking for a gray minivan, possibly a Chevrolet Uplander, with front passenger side damage involved in a fatal hit and run on State Road.
