Dartmouth Fire District 3 firefighters visited Smith Mills Preschool and Kindergarten to teach fire safety. Firefighter Anthony Poente read a story to the children. He had them practice stop, drop & roll and how to low crawl in case of fire. The children were then taken outside to discuss summer safety and seat belt safety. The presentation was concluded with Firefighter Nelson Mederios climbing up to the top of the ladder on the ladder truck.
