Wild Honey moving to Westport
After nearly four years in Russells Mills Village, the Wild Honey Cafe will be moving to Westport next month.
Late last year, brothers Ben and Will Shattuck purchased Davoll’s General Store — including the adjacent building Wild Honey currently occupies — with an intent to create their own cafe-style gathering spot.
“We’re sad that we have to move on,” co-owner Jillian Martin said. “But we’re really excited about moving to Westport.”
While the cafe will change towns, Martin said the service and menu will remain the same. The only big addition, she said, will be the ability to have more outdoor seating.
“With Covid, we want people to feel comfortable and have a place to grab coffee with friends,” Martin added. “That was our dream for the cafe.”
While the staff is sad to leave Dartmouth, the co-owner notes that the new site at 670 Main Road in Westport is only “ten minutes” from Davoll’s.
“Hopefully everything will go smoothly,” Martin said. “We’ve really cherished our time here.”
March 28 will be Wild Honey’s last day of operation in Dartmouth.
