Dartmouth resident to be principal of St. Stanislaus School in Fall River

Dartmouth resident, Patricia Coady has been selected as the new principal of St. Stanislaus School in Fall River.

Coady worked previously as a teacher at St. Stanislaus School for over fifteen years. For the past two years she has worked as a fourth grade teacher at St. Francis Xavier School in Acushnet, where she also assisted in creating and implementing a school-wide social-emotional learning program.

“[I am] determined to foster an environment in which the students will be supported and encouraged to be the best selves that they can be,” said Coady.

Coady was well received by the search team and superintendent.

“Mrs. Coady has embraced … characteristics of Catholic education throughout her career and will continue to do so as she takes the helm of this school,” said Daniel S. Roy, Superintendent of Catholic schools for the Diocese of Fall River.

Coady has a Masters in elementary education from Lesley University. Her undergraduate degree is in English and psychology from St. Mary’s College.
