AUCTION OF SURPLUS ITEMS

The Town of Dartmouth, Department of Public Works will utilize the services of Municibid Online Government Auctions for the sale of surplus equipment including vehicles and equipment commencing on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM. All items are listed with photos. Bid due dates are listed for each item through the online auction site and bids will be received only at www.municibid.com under Massachusetts, Town of Dartmouth. Bidders must pre-register with Municibid Online Auctions at www.municibid.com. Bids may NOT be placed directly with the Town and must be processed through the auction website. The Town of Dartmouth does not provide guarantees and/or warranties relative to the item(s) being sold. Thus, the item(s) is/are offered on an “as is, where is” basis. Sale to the responsive bidder offering the highest price for the item described on the auction site listing. The Town of Dartmouth reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The acceptable payment methods include Cashier’s Checks or Money Orders drawn to the order of the Town of Dartmouth. All bidders agree, by submission of bid are required to sign a non-collision and tax form at the time of bid acceptance. Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. on the petition of Dartmouth Fire District 1 who is seeking a Variance for renovations and an addition to an existing fire station to 10.9’, encroaching on the required 20’ street setback in the General Residence District which does not comply with the Towns Zoning by-laws for lot area and frontage. (Article 10 Section 375-10.4 -D (1)(A). The property is located at 10 Bridge Street and identified on Assessor’s Map 117 Lot 170.
