My Brother’s Keeper honored by OCES
The Dartmouth and Easton-based nonprofit, My Brother’s Keeper, received an “excellence in care” award at the Old Colony Elder Services Luncheon and Awards Ceremony this month.
According to the organization, the award recognized individuals and organizations whose actions and/or leadership exemplified care.
My Brother’s Keeper is a Christian ministry that delivers donated furniture, food, and Christmas gifts to local families in need. According to the nonprofit, it has delivered an estimated $4 million worth of services in the past year.
The luncheon was attended by over 145 supporters, including legislators and civic and business leaders.
Old Colony Elder Services is a nonprofit organization with offices in Brockton and Plymouth and is a provider of in-home and community-based services for older adults and people living with disabilities in Southeastern Massachusetts.
