Get ready for the annual jam under the stars — this year to the tunes of Bon Jovi — with the Dartmouth Police Relief Association.

 

The concert will be held on Saturday, July 27 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the UMass Dartmouth amphitheater and will feature kids activities, food trucks, beer and wine cash bars and Bon Jovi songs performed by Livin’ On A Bad Name. According to the event Facebook posting, the New Bedford band has been around since 2010 and is said to be “the only band in the world ever chosen to replace the real Bon Jovi in concert.”

 

Tickets are $10 for adults and free for kids 16 and under. Tickets will be available at the door or in advance at the Dartmouth Police Station at 1390 Tucker Road. Parking is free and attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets.

The gates will open at 5 p.m.
