A 70-year-old Westport man has sustained possible life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle accident in the area of 415 Division Road Tuesday, May 13.

Dartmouth Police said officers responded to the scene just before 12 p.m. and transported the man, who was operating the motorcycle, to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford .

A second vehicle involved in the crash, a Chevrolet Cobalt being operated by a 19-year-old Westport man remained on scene and cooperated with the police investigation.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Dartmouth Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit.

According to police, no further information regarding the extent of injuries is available at this time.
