People are “shore” to have a good time during the Friends of Smith Neck Meeting’s old-fashioned New England Clambake.

The event will be on August 9 at 1:30 p.m. The bake will be located at 594 Smith Neck Road at the corner of Rock O’Dundee Road.

After starting out with homemade quahog chowder and brown bread, the bake includes stuffing, fish, corn, sausage, clams, potatoes and watermelon.
