REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
LEASE OF 762 DARTMOUTH STREET, DARTMOUTH, MA 02747
The Town of Dartmouth, Massachusetts invites qualified responders to enter into a lease or otherwise contractual agreement of not more than 3 years in duration for the initial term for the Town-owned site known as the Elihu Akin House (762 Dartmouth Street, Dartmouth, MA 02747) for the purposes of cultural, and/or educational activities in accordance with the Request for Proposals (RFP) document. A mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 762 Dartmouth Street, Dartmouth, MA, on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 11:00AM (local time). Proposals will be received by the Town Administrator’s Office (Room 303), 400 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, MA 02747, until 2:00 PM local time on Monday, September 29, 2025. All proposals shall be labeled, addressed, and delivered to: 762 Dartmouth Street Lease RFP Response, ATTN: Town Administrator Cody Haddad, Dartmouth Town Hall - Room 303, 400 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, MA 02747. Proposal packages may be obtained from the Town website at https://town.dartmouth.ma.us/bids.aspx or from COMMBUYS at https://www.commbuys.com/bso/ beginning August 21, 2025, at 8:30AM. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town to do so.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
Notice is hereby given that a meeting will be held in accordance with the provisions of the Dartmouth Wetlands Protection Bylaw and M.G.L., Ch. 131, §40, the Wetlands Protection Act, on the Notice of Intent from Harvey Wolkoff c/o Tanner Poole to reinitiate a Phragmites Management Program to promote growth of native plant species. within the 100-ft Buffer Zone to a Salt Marsh and within Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage described as Map 112, Lot 4 or 132 Elm Street. The Conservation Commission voted in a Public Meeting to continue meeting virtually (via a Zoom Link) in accordance with the Governor’s 2025 extension of the virtual/hybrid open meeting option through June 30, 2027. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday August 26, 2025. The Conservation Commission voted in a Public Meeting to continue meeting virtually (via a Zoom Link) in accordance with the Governor’s 2025 extension of the virtual/hybrid open meeting option through June 30, 2027.
