5 Dartmouth summer leagues for your kids
Sidekick Soccer Academy:
Sign up for the third annual Dartmouth Summer Soccer Clinic, August 1-4 at the Dartmouth Youth Soccer Association (DYSA) fields. These co-ed teams take ages 4-13, and both recreational and competitive players. Full-day schedule costs $210; morning, $110; half-day, $160. Register at sidekicksocceracademy.com.
Burgo Basketball Association
Sign your kids up for Summer Basketball Camp. The two sessions run July 5-8 and July 25-28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The camp takes girls and boys, ages 8-18, and costs $150 for each session. Visit bbabasketball.com for more information.
Town of Dartmouth
Sign your kids up for tennis, swim, or golf lessons. Tennis lessons are offered at Dartmouth High School Monday-Thursday, June 27- August 11 for ages 5 and up. Tennis racket required. Prices range from $90-100 per child.
Thirty-minute swim lessons serve ages 2.5 and up at Round Hill Beach once a week for six weeks through July and August. Water babies and beginner classes offered, $30 each.
Children ages 7-13 can try their hand at golf at the Allendale Country Club (1047 Allen Street) for a $90 fee. The cost covers one-hour sessions, on Tuesday and Thursday from June 28-July 21. Participants must follow a dress code.

New England Futsal
Children ages 4-12 can register for Modern Futsal and Soccer Camp to develop motor and soccer skills. Located at Dartmouth Indoor Tennis (757 State Road), this program runs August 10-14. Programs range from quarter- to full-day sessions, $105-205. Find more information at newenglandfutsal.com.
Gamebreaker LaxCamps
Find both boys and girls lacrosse camps in Dartmouth from July 18-21. Campers stay in dorms at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, and play on the varsity athletic fields. Extended day programs cost $445; overnights, $595. Visit laxcamps.com for more information.
