5 Must-see Christmas displays around town

Dec 24, 2016

Hopping in your car with your family to gawk at lights after Christmas dinner? Check out this list of must-see holiday exhibits around town.

No. 1: Isaac Circle

Nestled on this quiet cul-de-sac is one of Dartmouth’s most elaborate Christmas displays: a fully decked out house, complete with lights and ornaments. As an added bonus, be sure to tune to 91.7 FM before pulling up and watch the lights sparkle and flash set to the beat of music.

No. 2: Bakerville Road

Just before the intersection with Rock o’Dundee Road, it’s hard to miss this special exhibit: an antique fire truck decked out in its holiday best. While it’s mostly red – it is a fire truck after all – it still lights the night up with color.

No. 3: Wayne Memorial Drive

Just off of Tucker Road, the yard at this home is filled with life-sized Christmas characters. Come find a cold snowman and a warm elf, snowglobes and more.

No. 4: Russells Mills Road

Lights on houses not your thing? Check out a row of giant Christmas trees along Russells Mills Road on the stretch between Slocum Road and Dartmouth Street. With large and small trees lit up, it's hard to miss.

No. 5: Ames Baker Way

This residential street is all lit up for the holidays. Multiple homes on this street as well as other surrounding roads have lights and Christmas themed knick knacks on display to enjoy.
