Join the Dartmouth library for a virtual visit to Deckawoo drive with author Kate DiCamillo on July 9 at 2 p.m. 

Newbery Medal winner DiCamillo will share the stories behind the creation of her “Mercy Watson” chapter book series, along with the follow up series, “Tales from Deckawoo Drive.” The event will also celebrate the publication of the final book in the “Mercy Watson” series. 

DiCamillo has published more than 30 children’s books throughout her career. From 2014 to 2015,  she served as the National Ambassador for Young People's Literature.
