The Bristol County Sheriff's Office will hold its first annual Autism Awareness Day on Friday, April 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sheriff’s Office Annex Building, located at 421 Faunce Corner Rd. (across the street from the main facility) in Dartmouth.

All are welcome to drive through and pick up a free Autism Safety Seat Belt Cover.

Participants will also be entered into a drawing to win one of two tablets.

The Sheriff’s Office is raising funds to benefit the Arc of Bristol County’s Autism Center.

The event is presented by Project Lifesaver, a key public safety program that helps locate lost people or those who wander off and bring them home.
