The annual Soup, Chowder and Chili cookout will return to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on Sunday, March 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

It costs $10 to come to the skirmish and taste all the soups. Tickets may be purchased on Sunday mornings at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church following the 10 a.m. Sunday service. During the week, tickets are available Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the office of The Bridge: A Center for Hope and Healing, just next to the church. 

At the event, there will be multiple serving stations set up with different types of soup, chowder and chili. Participants can sample as many as they would like. At the end of the event, participants will vote by secret ballot for their favorite soup and the creator of the most popular soup will receive a prize. The event is open to anyone in the community.
