On Aug. 13, Better Community Living will host a fundraising event that includes a food and wine tasting.

The event takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. at Seaport Inn & Marina in Fairhaven. In addition to food and wine, there will be auction items, raffles and live music throughout the evening.

Better Community Living is a Dartmouth-based non-profit dedicated to providing services to adults and children with autism and developmental disabilities within the Greater New Bedford area.

Tickets for the event cost $50 per person and will be available at the entrance.
