Big Value will make its final sale this coming Saturday Aug. 27 at 7 p.m.

With the permanent closure coming, owner David Tatelbaum said all items in the store will be 75% off.

“So come in for that last bargain or just to say goodbye!” Big Value said in a Facebook post.

Additionally, Big Value has off the coin-operated horse that has sat outside the store since the 1980s — when it was still a Mars Bargainland. Winning the beloved horse are Lolly and Ronnie Fernandes , with $200 from their bid going to the Acushnet-based charity GiftsToGive, which helps South Coast kids in need.
