The Appalachian Mountain Club is hosting a free bike ride through the region on July 2, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

The ride begins at Westport’s Gooseberry Island and runs about 35 miles through Dartmouth. The ride is suited for those 18 years of age or older. It runs at about a 12-15 MPH pace.

A helmet and water is required to participate. Options for ice cream breaks along the way is also offered.
