Bishop Stang High School senior Liam Santos of Dartmouth will be playing NCAA Division III soccer for Becker College this fall after signing a letter of commitment with the school last week.

According to a press release from the school, Santos signed the letter in a ceremony attended by his parents, Cheryl and Roy, sister, Danielle, and coach Nate Greene.

He said that that Becker “checked off all of the boxes” for him in terms of a college wish-list.

The Becker College Hawks soccer program is in a rebuilding phase and Santos said that he is excited about being a part of that process, and becoming “a part of a team that can gel and grow together.”

Santos added that he is also excited to join Hawks coach Brad Hosey at Becker and thanked Coach Nate Greene at Bishop Stang for all of his support.

He also expressed gratitude for the lifelong friendships he developed through playing with the Spartan team, as well as to his family and his parents for getting him interested in soccer and for their support throughout his many years of playing.
