Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride set to make its 19th return
On Sunday, Oct. 5, bikers will once again ride through South Dartmouth in the 19th annual Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride.
The ride includes a 100-mile route, a 77-mile route and a 41-mile route, with the 100 and 77-mile rides coming through Dartmouth.
The Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride is set to make its 19th return on Sunday, Oct. 6, with the 100-mile and 77-mile routes set to pass through South Dartmouth.
The 100-mile ride is starting in Little Compton, Rhode Island and the 77-mile ride is starting at Horseneck Beach State Reservation in Westport.

Enter Dartmouth on Horseneck Road near Allen’s Pond
Right onto Old Horseneck Road
Right onto Allens Neck Road
Left onto Barneys Joy Road
Left onto Horseneck Road
Right onto Rock O’Dundee Road near Davoll’s General Store
Continues onto Potomska Road
Continues onto Little River Road
Left onto Smith Neck Road
Right onto Gulf Road and past Apponagansett Beach into Padanaram
Left onto Elm Street
Right onto Prospect Street
Left onto Dartmouth Street
Right onto Rogers Street and into New Bedford
The Buzzards Bay Coalition recommends spectators go to the Little River Bridge between 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. to catch the largest group of riders.
