Cecil "Smitty" Smith, Jr., 84, of Dartmouth, passed away on April 9, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Mary E. Robinson.

Born in Fall River, he was a self-employed farmer. He was in his earlier years a volunteer firefighter for the Town of Dartmouth and a U.S. Army Veteran.

He was the loving father of Robert, Fred, Angela, Grace, Joseph, Victor, James, and Adam Robinson, Carol Medeiros, and Cecil Smith III; Marion Elizabeth Carpenter, and Ambrose John Smith. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
