The Department of Public Works has released its Christmas tree pick-up schedule.

For SMART program participants, Christmas Trees are scheduled to be picked up on the same day as solid waste the weeks of Jan. 4 and Jan. 11. Christmas Tree collection will begin at 7 a.m.

Residents may also drop off Christmas trees at the brush area located at the Department of Public Works/Water Pollution Control Facility located at 759 Russells Mills Road in Dartmouth.

The facility is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

A Transfer Station sticker is required.
